Withdrawal from the Taylor School
Students commit to study at the Taylor School for the length of the entire semester.
Tuition will be assessed for the remainder of the semester if a student discontinues lessons or classes within a semester.
The Taylor School reserves the right to discontinue lessons or classes and/or refuse lessons to students.
Reasons for discontinuation/refusal of lessons include, but are not limited to:
- consistent lack of preparation of assignments
- non-payment and/or consistent late payment of tuition
- consistent absenteeism
- an unwillingness to engage in performance opportunities
- the determination by the instructor or director that the student's needs are not being adequately met by the Taylor School
Performance Opportunities
An end-of-semester performance will occur at the end of each 14-week semester. These performances are mandatory. Optional performance opportunities are also available throughout the semester. These include a DuetFest, Fall Festival, master classes, and participation in area festivals and competitions. Other performances may be scheduled as they arise.
