The Taylor School

Community Arts at Mississippi College

Founded in 2007, the Taylor School serves as the community arts program of Mississippi College. The school provides superior arts instruction to the Clinton, Mississippi community and beyond. The program is named after Dr. Ralph Taylor, who retired from MC's piano faculty in 1999 after a distinguished career spanning over 40 years. The Taylor School is fully accredited as a preparatory division by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). Our mission is to be a distinctive community arts program committed to facilitating artistic development and promoting a lifetime of enjoyment by students of all ages.
